Which SCORM versions does ILIAS support, and how is completion tracked?
ILIAS supports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 as well as xAPI. Completion status and score are written back to the ILIAS gradebook automatically, and instructors can view per-learner tracking data in the course assessment view.
How does ILIAS handle certificate issuance for compliance training?
ILIAS generates PDF certificates when learners meet configurable pass criteria (score threshold, completion status, or manual sign-off). Certificates include a unique ID for verification and are stored in the learner's portfolio.
Which plans include LDAP or SSO authentication?
Business and Enterprise plans include LDAP and SSO setup. ILIAS supports LDAP directory sync as well as SAML-based single sign-on, which is commonly used by universities and public-sector organisations in the DACH region.
How many active users are included per plan, and can I upgrade mid-contract?
Starter covers up to 100 active users, Business up to 500, and Enterprise is unlimited on dedicated infrastructure. You can upgrade at any time; we adjust resources and billing from the next calendar month.
